A prophecy foretells the rise of a new Shadow Lord who will either unite or destroy the realm. The player's character is unwittingly thrust into this prophecy, setting the stage for their journey.

Art and Audio Direction

Visual Style

A blend of hand-drawn 2D art for character portraits and dialogue scenes, combined with stylized 3D graphics for exploration and combat. The art style should evoke a sense of wonder and magic, with vibrant colors and intricate designs reflecting the diverse cultures of Aethoria.

Character Design

Highly customizable player character with options for different races, body types, and cultural backgrounds. NPCs should be diverse and visually distinct, each with unique designs that reflect their personalities and roles in the world.

World Design

An interconnected open world with distinct biomes and architectural styles for each region. The environment should be interactive, with hidden secrets, dynamic weather systems, and day-night cycles that affect gameplay and story events.

Audio Design

An orchestral soundtrack that adapts to different regions and story events. Dynamic sound effects that enhance the magical atmosphere of the world. High-quality voice acting for key characters and critical story moments, with an option for full voiceover.
